This painting was born from a moment of light. An Angel. As this painting was being created a certain glow began to emerge, unlike anything I had ever created before. The brightest painting I've ever created in all my painting history.
A young woman who once walked this earth with a heart full of love, art and adventure. She was only twenty-three when she left this world after her battle with cancer, yet her spirit has never left. She adored nature, traveling, art, and spent her time advocating for children who were fighting the same battle she knew so well.
Though I never knew her or even knew her name this is definitely her light and angel presence shining through. Powerful, radiant but calm. She came through weaving every color of the earth into one harmony of light. And somehow, she didn't just bring the painting to life, she brought light to me too.
That night, she gathered not just me but two of my closest friends. Together, we painted advocating for the same thing she had such a great passion for. Three women who each needed healing in different ways. through her unseen guidance, our canvases became mirrors of joy, of renewal and connection.
So here she is. This angel in color and light. Still here. Still watching. Still advocating from above, reminding us to find beauty in every shade of life.
